MAG member Roger Frey is the featured artist at the Artist’s Undertaking Gallery, now through April 5, 2009. He is exhibiting several pastels in the “Diana” series, such as the one above. The gallery is located at 309 Mill Street in Occoquan. — michele frantz

The Manassas Art Guild is required by our Bylaws to hold election of officers of the Board of Directors once every year. Normally, these elections are held in May of each year. This year, the Manassas Art Guild did not hold elections in May. In order to meet our requirements as set forth in the Bylaws, the Manassas Art Guild will be holding elections for the Officers of the Board of Directors on October 2, 2008. The elections will be held at our regular Membership meeting that will be held that day.

In addition, at the October Membership Meeting, the Board of Directors will also be presenting a new set of Bylaws for the membership’s consideration and to be voted on. Copies of the new Bylaws will be
emailed and mailed out to the membership prior to the meeting so that everyone has time to read them. In addition, a summary of changes will be sent with the updated Bylaws.
