Goals of the Guild

The Manassas Art Guild (MAG) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation formed to encourage cooperation and interchange among artists and fine crafters, sponsor art and fine craft exhibitions, and promote the study and improvement of art and fine crafts.

The skills of our members include but are not limited to: drawing, oil painting, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, multimedia printing, graphic arts, film making, print making, jewelry making, pottery, sculpture, pottery. These are just some of the techniques and skills that you will exposed to and can learn.

 

Board Meetings

Executive Board meetings are held the 4th Sunday of the month at 3:00PM at City Tavern on Main Street in Old Town Manassas, Virginia.

 

Membership Meetings

Membership meetings take place on the first Thursdays of the month, February through June and September through November. Each gathering begins at 7 pm with a short business meeting, followed by refreshments. The programs feature a variety of media, techniques and topics, and end around 9 p.m. The programs are free, and open to the general public. They are held at Sudley Elementary, 9744 Copeland Drive, Manassas, VA.
